Sean Halliburton Web Design and Development Seattle

Hello, and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Sean Halliburton. I live in Seattle with my wonderful wife and son and work full-time as a Web developer for University of Phoenix, where I am most fascinated by the convergence of intelligent, insightful functionality and design. I've also performed development and design work for the Washington Post Company and Dragon Media Online.

I love my job—I get to play with all of the latest tools, and it never ceases to amaze me that most of the very best are free. I've taught myself a lot, but have also studied programming and development through the University of Washington and, yes, University of Phoenix.

The best resource for learning how the Web works is the Web itself; if you want to learn, I'd start with Wikipedia, w3schools and Webmonkey, a great resource that has been resurrected by Wired Magazine and is where I started years ago.

In my day job, I work for University of Phoenix, developing and maintaining online experiences where potential students can request more information and learn more about the University in general. I've done quite a bit of independent work for various businesses and organizations (and my own creativity and curiosity) over the years, from ecommerce to music to special interest sites and portals. Here's a portfolio of my various projects:
